ERB Secure Browser: Privacy Settings

The first time ERB Secure Browser is launched, the user is prompted to allow the app access to System Events and the Desktop folder.

The user must select OK to both prompts; otherwise the application will not function properly.

In some cases, a user may not see these prompts or accidentally dismiss or click "Don't Allow."  In this scenario, the user will need to manually adjust these permissions.  To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Open System Settings (System Preferences).

2. Open Privacy & Security.

3. Scroll down the list on the right and click on "Automation."

4. Expand ERB Browser in the list and enable System Events.

5. Click again on Privacy & Security. Select "Full Disk Access".

6. Find "ERB Secure Browser" in the list and enable.

7. Launch ERB Browser and test.  If the app still malfunctions, please email helpdesk@viewpoint.org to submit a support ticket.
