To address security concerns and risks, Cisco Duo (our two-factor authentication vendor) has raised the required minimum version of the Duo Mobile App to version 4.85.0 after February 2, 2026. Affected users will either need to upgrade their Duo Mobile App or enable an alternate MFA mechanism like SMS Text Messages.
Duo Mobile App requires Apple devices running iOS 16 or higher. For Android devices, they must support Android OS 11 or higher. After February 2, 2026, older Duo Mobile app versions may begin to fail authentication, as part of a soft cut-over. The hard cut-over date is March 31, 2026, at which time unsupported versions will stop working entirely.
Employees with an Apple or Android mobile device requiring an updated have received email notifications with a link to these instructions.
